Almanac – Jacqueline de Tilly
November 1st, 2012This week’s almanac entry is Jacqueline de Tilly. She’s Vivienne’s lady-in-waiting, aide-de-camp, co-conspirator, friend, and advisor. She’s got a keen eye and a sharp wit. It’s always the quiet ones who are the most dangerous.
Brittany and I are off to Nekocon tomorrow morning. With the hurricane rolling through, this one snuck up on me. We’ll be there with books, prints, and buttons. Come by and say hello.
Excellent web comic. As a French guy, I’d like to submit one little nitpick: “Seigneur” is what you call the Lord in church. For the courtesy “my lord” title, the French say “messire” (contraction of “my sire”).
