Almanac – Aradie Regional Map
December 18th, 2015This week’s Almanac entry is the regional map of Northeast Everique. So you can see where all the placesĀ are in relation to each other. Aradie is to the north with Liranequois to the southwest. Varre and Neerpelt are to the south. Elakanois didn’t make it on this map, but it’s just to the west.
Holiday break is here! I’ll be back on Monday Jan. 4 with the next page, which will explain why the Governor General won’t grant his daughter’s request. Happy holidays every one!
Excellent. I’ve wanted a map for ages. Can I be awkward and ask for a scale? I suppose I shoild be able to work it out from the tropic lines, assuming we are on an earth-sized planet.
I’ll add a scale on the next Almanac update. There’s a few other things about the map that I want to fix as well.
Well, it seems to be a pretty close analog of our North American coast.
The Gulf of Grand Vire = Gulf of St. Lawrence
Briault = Boston
Zollhaven = New Amsterdam/New York
Sherbourg = Quebec City
Ville Marcelet = Montreal
Nionnontego = Albany
Lake Ondakina = Lake Champlain
Lake Chambenac = Lake Ontario
Other geographical elements also appear analogously located (PEI, Cape Cod, Long Island, Jersey Penninsula, etc)
That would make the map roughly 1000 miles square.
