Hey, those amethysts are already paid for, dang it! Snow lifted the Heart of Ice jewel, right? Didn’t Chugan get that already? It hasn’t been found by any humans, so wouldn’t a huge, uncut diamond be worth well more then 10x the value of two flawless amethysts?
Wait…if the dishes were among the things that Snow-By-Night left for Chugan…and since the boys took them back, if Chugan found them missing…

On the one hand I can see the fatal flaw in shipping with Snow…but on the other, this is a world of alchemy and enchantments…
