June 28th, 2017Steel is stronger than iron. Pieter firmly believes that this is true in more than just metallurgy. So much so that he’s prepared to be a student of a different tradition. This theme is one that is woven throughout Snow by Night. Combinations are always more stronger than their component parts.

Steph is heading to Denver Comic Con this weekend! She’ll be bringing with her the brand new Volume 1 books! No more chapter books for Volume 1. We now have a sweet, sweet trade paperback that’s 172 pages long and comes with a brand new vignette!

June 26th, 2017Today’s lesson is perspective! Pieter finds perspective crucial in his observations. Is he on the edge of the Theory of Relativity or the Observer Effect? Would he slow down long enough to write down his theories? Only time will tell!

June 14th, 2017Snow-by-Night levels a threat at Pieter. Or is it a promise? Pieter treats it like a promise, but he’s a glass half-full kinda guy.

I have some more announcements for future conventions. We’ll be attending Nekocon and and Indigenous Comic Con in November. We’re also attending Ring of Fire next March. More on that later.
AwesomeCon is this weekend! Our biggest new feature is a line of Sailor Scouts prints from Amanda Gomes. We’re big magical girl fans and we reimagined them in 18th century naval garb. The Inner Senshi are in naval uniforms while the wild Outer Senshi are dressed as buccaneers. They look fantastic. Thank you, Amanda!

June 12th, 2017Blaise and Willem both try to pull one very angry manitou off of Pieter. Neither seems to be working well. Pieter tries words, words, words. Some of you have picked up on Pieter’s favorite play. The Dutch would totally agree that there is something rotten in Denmark.

I have some news about upcoming events. I’m pushing the Patreon launch back to this fall when we have enough buffer to give Patrons a good-sized lead as to what’s going up on the website.
I am also planning out the Volume 3 Kickstarter, which I expect to launch toward the end of July. I’m doing the layout for the book now and it looks fabulous! It will also include a book-only vignette by the incredible Tangent Artists team. I’ll let you know more about this as things finalize.
