Birds of a Feather Page 8

April 22nd, 2014

Jassart and Blaise find Henriette’s hidden cache of brandy on Birds of a Feather page 8. I added that a couple weeks ago to the almanac. There is a method to my madness. Jassart finds a little something for himself in addition to the brandy. To see a hint of what hurdles the boys have to face next, please vote for Snow by Night on Top Web Comics.

Diane and I had a great time at AwesomeCon. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth. We met a lot of great people, especially families and first-time con goers. We’re definitely attending next year.

I’m pleased to announce that the Roses of Alchemy prints are now in the Snow by Night store. These 4″x6″ prints each feature one of the 8 roses of alchemy with art by Stephanie Stober. They came out beautifully.

Is this the same dagger that Jassart has been seen with ever since, when his dagger is shown, that is?

Hey guys! Long time reader, first time commenter. This is definitely one of my favorite vignettes so far. The art style is memorable and eye-catching, the story is engaging as always (I’ve always wanted to see the backstory of these two), and there hasn’t been a character in the entire series that I didn’t like (or hate for the right reasons). You guys put on a wonderful webcomic, and it’s easily the best storytelling one I’ve ever read! :)

I just noticed one tiny error in this page, though. Where Blaise says “It would be worth a quite a bit of silver to the right buyer,” I think you added an extra “a” at the beginning. Just wanted to throw that out there.

Still a dang marvelous comic if I ever saw one. Keep up the great work!

Blargh. Missed that extra A in the proofing. We’ll get that fixed. Thanks for the heads up. If you like this art, then you should read Runewriters by Shazzbaa, who is the artist for this vignette. She has a very unique style that I positively adore.
