Engagement on Vineyard Hill Page 10
December 9th, 2014Jacqueline plays a deadly game of cat-and-mouse on page 10 of Engagement on Vineyard Hill. I’m awe-struck by that horse Naty drew in the first panel. It takes my breath away. Kudos, Naty! To see what befalls the chimera next week, please vote for Snow by Night on Top Web Comics.
The more I look at this the more I find one thing kind of jarring – that is a very blue frog. I’m no herpetologist, but I have a feeling that brightly-colored frogs like that aren’t exactly native to either France or the northern colonies, so why use one? (Extra poison?) And where did they get it?
Well-coordinated for such a mish-mash of anmal parts.
The horses are superbly done.
Looks more like a manticore than a chimera to me…
Chimera are any type of alchemically created creature. So manticores would be chimera. I discuss this in the Almanac.
