The Lake Page 4

Snow remembers the figure floating in the water. Do you? If not, read about him starting here. He certainly remembers Snow.  To see a face that screams “J’accuse…!”, please vote for Snow by Night on Top Web Comics!

I’m also pleased to announce that the Mythmakers Team has launching a Patreon page! I’ve been putting this together over the summer and we have some treats for everyone in there. Join today and you’ll be able to see the entirety of Chapter 16 take shape as Julie is working on the thumbnails now. Come help us make a wonderful story and get lots of behind the scenes access!

Please give some safe thoughts for Amanda, our artist. She lives in south Florida which is being targeted by Hurricane “Vengeance of a Greek God” Irma. We’re hoping it doesn’t affect the posting schedule, but if she loses power for a month or the entire southern half of Florida is blown away….

I highly doubt a woman, spirit or not, uninterested in returning your affection makes her heartless.

He died in her lake, now he is bound there.
He can be set free, if she takes his heart.
/ just kidding, I know nothing and am making a macabre joke.

I still like it. But I think the deal is maybe that she has to accept the heartache as well as the love. Having a heart cuts both ways. She didn’t know how to feel what he said before, but she will know it with a heart.

Something like that, is my theory, anyway. Facing up to the full responsibility/consequence of having a heart.

Ahhh!!! I remembered him quick but that still gave me chills!

I’d like to send my prayers from across the sea to Amanda, and everyone else who’s at risk of losing everything to all of these twisters. I wish I could do more to helping you rebuild, but my family and I are praying for your safety.
